My ride in the bus to school
Underlined: colons practice sentences.
Every day I wake up in the morning at 6:15 and I get ready to go take the bus at 7:15. I run to the bus stop. I see many objects around me: flowers, a bench, and palm trees. When I get on the bus, I greet the people I see and go search for my special seat almost in the middle of the bus. I think about all the classes I have today and if I had completed the following home works: science, English, math, and Spanish. I look out the window and see the beautiful sky full of clouds. I take my iPad out and I struggle to put my headphones on. It was time to hear music. I open the music app I have and think about what type of music I want to hear. I had the following types of music: sad, happy, and fun.
When the bus was in the third condominium, I though about one thing: how would this day be. I wondered if I would have an exiting day, with my friends and learning new things about topics I liked or maybe my day would be sad and boring. No matter which type of day it was for me, I always try to make it positive, smiling. The last bus stop was were one of my best friends lived. I was very happy to see her because I needed to talk to her about the following things: the Colombian project, the Charcter test that we have next week, and the computers homework. She sat next to me and we started talking. Suddenly, I remembered the most important think I needed to ask her: how was her tennis tournament last weekend. She looked sad but I said to her that it was only a tournament and that there would be more in her life. That each time she would be a better tennis player. We were late to class. When we arrived to school I saw many people doing different things: running, drinking water, and talking. We got out of the bus and starting walking slowly to our first class. The bus ride is always a mystery because I don't know what will happen the next day.
